Cuando alguien se detiene ante algo bello, deja de pensar únicamente en sí mismo. Durante unos segundos desaparecen la prisa, el miedo, la comparación y el ruido. Aparece el asombro. Y el asombro es una de las emociones más transformadoras que existen, porque nos recuerda que hay algo más grande que nuestro pequeño diálogo interno.

Quizá por eso cuidar la belleza (en una casa, en una ciudad, en una conversación o en la forma en que tratamos a los demás) no sea un acto superficial, sino profundamente humano.

How can we expect people to respect the law when the law itself seems to abandon logic? Respect for the law does not stem from fear of punishment, but from trust that the rules are reasonable, coherent, and just. When a law contradicts itself, promotes absurdity, or drifts away from common sense, it ceases to be a guide for social order and becomes an imposition that is difficult to understand. And when people feel that the rules no longer reflect reality or justice, respect erodes, and an inevitable question arises: if those who write the laws do not respect consistency, why should those who are expected to follow them?
