Who we are has an impact on what we do. And what we do, inevitably, also transforms who we are.

But it doesn’t happen only within us.

Who I am, the way I show up, my presence, has an impact on you. On how you feel, on what you do, on the way you respond. And you have that same impact on me.

We are constantly influencing one another, even when we are unaware of it.

There is an ongoing dialogue between being and doing, between what happens within us and what we set in motion outside of us.

And in that space, intention matters.

Because it’s not only what we do that matters, but the place within us from which we do it. The very same action can carry an entirely different meaning depending on the intention behind it.

That is why every thought matters. Every intention. Every word. Every gesture. Every action.

Nothing is insignificant.

Even what seems small adds something. It leaves something behind. It moves something.

Taking care of what we do, and of the place within us from which we do it, is also a way of taking care of who we are. And taking care of who we are eventually reveals itself in the way we treat others, in the decisions we make, and in what we create around us.

Perhaps changing something out there begins precisely here: by daring to look within first.

By becoming a little more of what we would like to find when we look at the world.

Because who we are transforms what we do.
What we do transforms who we are.
And somehow, we transform one another too.

Everything adds up.
